Oyem Foods all started with an idea in 2019. An idea of making high quality, African food more accessible to folks living in Manitoba. Growing up in Nigeria and now living in Canada, it was hard not having those exact tastes from home.

 

Missing the family meals, the local street food and the tastes from the various restaurants, got us thinking of how we can start to mimic those flavours and bring back all those feel good moments of tasting food how it was back home.

 

So wherever "home" was for you, just know that at Oyem Foods, we know what it is like to miss our local or family delicacies, and we strive to serve you the best we can here in Manitoba, so those missing flavours may feel a little less missed.
