Oyem Foods strongly believes in providing quality products at affordable pricing. As a family owned and operated business, our goal is to bring your favorite African food products to your home.

The foundation of our mission is our core values.  They are values we believe represent us as a locally owned, family business and how we believe that you will distinguish us from other African food suppliers. These are the core values we hold close to us:

Product Standards: We will provide you with a diverse selection of products with an emphasis on local Nigerian, quality, minimally processed, and sustainable foods.

Food & Product Safety: As a customer and part of our community, we believe you deserve food and products with superior standards and clear labeling.  Health and safety are very important to us and we will continue to prioritize keeping a healthy community.

Local Love: The great province of Manitoba is our home, but for many of us and for many of customers, Africa is also called home. We work with local businesses and families in Nigeria to help source local, quality and sustainable products. We believe that supporting local family businesses is important and encourage the buying of local goods throughout our community.

Community Consciousness: We stay engaged by supporting the local African community with events and causes that reflect our mission and lead to positive change.
